Soorena Sadri, DPM is a seasoned podiatric physician and surgeon with 13 years of experience. He is board certified in podiatric medicine by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine.
Dr. Sadri’s postsecondary education began at the University of Maryland, where he graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. Dr. Sadri obtained his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2009 from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. This was followed by a 3-year surgical residency program at Hahnemann University Hospital/Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where he served as Chief Resident until 2012.
Since 2012, Dr. Sadri has been practicing in Southwest Florida. He began with a large group servicing Naples to Port Charlotte. In 2020, he co-created Footworx Active Podiatry, where he treats a variety of foot and ankle conditions, and educates his patients on the positive effects of physical fitness and preventative medicine.
Dr. Sadri is affiliated with several hospitals in Florida, including Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers and Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers. He is an active member in several professional organizations including the New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM), the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, and the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association (PPMA). Dr. Sadri has also been a representative of the Graduate Medical Education Committee at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Sadri is licensed to practice in Florida and is the Vice-Chair of the Florida Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Gina Sadri is FootWorx Active Podiatry’s Practice Director and co-created the practice to ensure a better patient experience. Gina is responsible for strategic planning and operations, making all executive decisions regarding growth and day-to-day management of the company and staff.
Ms. Sadri has a multi-faceted business background. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing and Management from Texas State University. She began her career in New York City and worked for one of the largest and most prestigious ad agencies in Manhattan.
During this time, Ms. Sadri continued her education, focusing on strategic planning. She began working with several different leading research firms in Manhattan and then in Philadelphia, becoming an expert in consumer behaviors and trends.
Eventually, Ms. Sadri moved to Florida to manage their family, serve on their Church's Board of Trustees, and later to build the FootWorx Active Podiatry practice. She enjoys an equal partnership with Dr. Sadri, where she handles all matters pertaining to business, which allows Dr. Sadri to focus on patient care.
Mary - Care Coordinator
Mary is a Certified Podiatric X-Ray Assistant and is responsible for coordinating care of our guests. She comes to us by way of University of Louisville as well as FGCU with a passion for art and a love of humanity. Her gentle demeanor is welcoming, reassuring, and plays a vital role in our team. She enjoys her free time creating new masterpieces and spending time with her daughters and fur babies.
Nicole - Intake Specialist
Nicole has always called Southwest Florida home and earned her Bachelor's degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. She has brought her administrative and management experience to our team and actively manages our guests' interactions and experiences from arrival to departure of our office. Her love of Music and affinity for organization bodes well for our team. Outside of the office, Nicole can be found experimenting with a new recipe in the kitchen or exploring nature walks with her dog Gunner.
Amanda - Graduate Medical Assistant
Amanda invites and guides our guests to be seen and to discuss their medical history and concerns, working with Dr. Sadri directly to provide complete care. She is a native Floridian from the East Coast and is set to graduate from Florida Gulf Coast University in December 2024, earning her a Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school in hopes of becoming a forensic pathologist. When she finds extra time, she volunteers with the local animal shelter, enjoys a good concert with friends, and relaxes with family.
Shania - Graduate Medical Assistant
Shania invites and guides our guests to be seen and to discuss their medical history and concerns, working directly with Dr. Sadri to provide complete care. She comes to us from North Port, Florida with roots in Buffalo, New York. She is currently attending Florida Gulf Coast University and is set to graduate Spring of 2026 with her Bachelors in Health Science. She plans to attend medical school after graduation with hopes to become a pediatric neurosurgeon. In her rare spare time, she enjoys travel, volunteering, and home with her cats when not studying.
